If you forget your check-in slip you will need to queue and provide your name, number and route you plan to ride.

If you have not entered please go to the registration desk and complete an entry form and pay your entry fee.

Your Rider Number(s)

If you have pledged to raise sponsorship, your laminated rider’s number and cable ties will be enclosed with your welcome letter and fundraising pack that was posted to you.

If you are not raising sponsorship your number will be emailed to you and you will need to collect your laminated bike number before the start.

Your rider’s number must be attached to the handlebars of your bike, using cable ties or string, so the number can be seen from the front. If you do not have any cable ties, some will be available from the check-in desk.

You will not be able to start without your number attached to your bike.

For your own safety and protection please write your name, address and next of kin details on the back of the rider’s number using a permanent felt-tip pen. Again pens will be available at the check-in desk.

Start Times

108 mile at 8am

80 & 70 mile at 8:30

55 &45  mile at 9am

35 & 22 mile at 9:30

10 mile at 10am.

For each time slot, riders start will be staggered so as not to cause congestion on the roads. If you arrive late for your official start time, ask to join the next group (103 & 81 must start by 9am). All routes (except the 10 mile) turn left out of the gate.  Timings: Although the event is not a race, you can record your time on our web site where it will be shown alongside others.

Finish: Please aim to finish your ride by 4:30 pm. If you are doing 108, 80 or 55-mile routes and you arrive at the Moreton refreshment stop after 4 pm do not follow the right-hand turn after the village hall to do the Lulworth loop but continue straight on following the other routes to Wool and to the finish. This will only reduce your ride by 10 miles but will enable you to finish by 4: 30.

There will be cold and hot drinks, plus sandwiches and cake at the start/finish area. In addition  there will be refreshment stops on route with drinks and snacks. See your route map.

The Routes

The routes are mainly on quiet country lanes and clearly marked.

There may be other bike rides in the area so PLEASE ENSURE YOU ONLY FOLLOW THE ROUTE SIGNS WITH THE WORD “ROTARY”. Keep a look out for Course Split signs for the different distances and ensure you follow the correct route. Please study the route maps enclosed which covers the various routes and ensure you are familiar with your route before the ride. All routes are circular and on tarmac roads.

Check out at the Finish

Please endeavor to finish by 4pm. Please check out before you take refreshments. We want to be able to ensure everybody gets back safely. Go to the desk and provide your name and riders number and collect your goody bag.

If you have requested a certificate and/or medal please go to the desk marked and collect these. If you forget they can only be sent to you if you send us a stamped address envelope.
